Text format settings.

List

The list of all settings with the font name and text size. The same font name can appears more than once if different settings use the same font.

Settings can be rearranged up or down. Note however that keys image index are NOT rearranged. Not either when deleting a setting.

When pressing the New button, a new line is added with the same properties as the previously selected setting.

Note that the setting selected is also the default format when creating a new key.

Properties

Font name: Font to use for rendering texts.

Size: Text height for a zoom of 100%. Tick Adjust to zoom to have the text resized when different zoom are applied.

Color: Text color. Colors already used in the project are listed in the drop down list.
Click the color button to create a new color.

Style: Bold, italic and underline.

It is possible to add a shadow to the text by ticking Shadow. Its color can be selected as well as the X and Y offset.

Alignment: Where to draw the text on the key. Position depend on the image or color margins applied.
Horizontal Left, center, right
Horizontal alignment is applied to scancode and ABC keys only if the Show property is set to 1 character.
Vertical Top, center, bottom
Horizontal alignment is applied to scancode and ABC keys only if the Show property is set to 1 character. Automatic is a special setting which center the text if no pictogram is selected, otherwise align it to the bottom.
Show: This property only apply to scancode and ABC key types. These keys can have up to three symbols or texts. This property define whether all symbols must be displayed or only one based on Shift and AltGr states.
3 characters The three symbols are shown, no matter the Shift and AltGr states. Note that alpha characters display only the upper case character. This setting make the layout look like a desktop keyboard.
1 character Only one symbol is shown at a time. The symbol depend on the Shift and AltGr states. If Upper case is selected, alphabetic characters are always display upper case. Lower case the opposite.
